Tutoring for Adult Learners

Adults can improve reading and writing skills or other literacy goals with a trained tutor at a location that is close and convenient. One-on-one or small group tutoring are offered.

Literacy goals can include anything from learning to vote, reading a book to your child, using a computer, or even passing the U.S. Citizenship exam. We are committed to helping you achieve your goals, no matter how big or small.

Get Help Speaking English

Would you like to learn English and improve your conversational speaking skills? TLC offers a friendly and welcoming environment where learners practice listening to and speaking English, either in a small group or one-on-one.

Family Learning

When families learn together, they thrive together. Parents and caregivers of kids 17 and under learn to read to children and encouraged to be active participants in their child’s early learning.

We offer specialized programs that promote literacy within the family unit including family story time, simultaneous parent/child learning, and family literacy events at the library.
